Pathpoint: Cannabis Tenants (New Offering)

With the growing legalization of cannabis, Pathpoint offers a competitive product, covering everything from dispensaries to growers, making it easy for you to secure coverage for your clients in states where cannabis is legal. Recreational sales, while eligible, will be subject to underwriter review.

 

Key Highlights:

  • Lines of Business: LRO GL, Package & Property
  • Commission: 10% 
  • Exclusions:
    • Must be medicinally or recreationally legal at the state level.
    • There should be no involvement or financial interest in said operation (it is a pure LRO risk).
    • Cannot cover extraction operations.
    • Can cover risks with security, including armed security, but it will refer with additional questions for underwriter review, and there is less appetite overall for it.

Carrier Highlight: Propeller 

Propeller is an automated MGA for surety bonding, providing a white-labeled platform with AON branding. It enables quick bond purchases (under 2 minutes) with electronic signatures, streamlined billing, and access to multiple surety markets, technology, and underwriters.

  • Bind Ratio: 100 (credit dependent)
  • Commission: 30 %
  • Out of Appetite: Customs, Bail
